Agree with yourself and moved. Unsure what their dilemma is. I've prepared a response to their offer should it ever arrive which is forthright and lists a salary which would be above their offer I believe...to assess if they are serious or not.

Plan B is in play and have an interview set after the Holidays. Must admit never had such a bizarre situation.

I had a situation very similar to yours with the offer. It took months and crazy communication. It turned out the position was not approved and they were waiting for word. Finally got the offer. At the time I was desperate so I took the job. Luckily the job has been wonderful and I am very happy.

it will be interesting if I ever get the offer. I have a standing offer at another hospital going up in February to meet with them. IF this situation ever ends up with paper and a signature it will take a while. I've been working on a proposal to change the position somewhat....they may or may not go for it and that would take some time (again)....unless they offer in the mid 100 range I won't be accepting. That said things happen....
