I am somewhat fortunate in that I still have a job, but it never hurts to always look for something better. But as I get older, I'm stuck. The older you get, the harder it gets to find a job, so if you lose the one you have, it's very stressful.
Yes, it is true. The struggle is real. It is really easy to become destitute and homeless.

Thank you. I did not want to say anything until I was cleared.

For the most part, it is perfect for me. My criteria is specific. I want to live, work and play locally.

The company is great! I hope to be with them for years to come.

It is not easy out there. There is so much competition. I am exhausted. I did something unconventional. I tried to connect as a person as oppossed to an applicant. Compliments do not mean anything. I showed interest, competence and me.

I plan to pursue my Master's but I am going to defer admission until next Fall. I need to recover. I am exhausted and broke.

It certainly is not easy. I am still surprised I got a new job through a job fair, despite a year of searching. Even more surprising is my old employer offering me hours to keep me around. They are having an issue filling the position, despite it being an easy laid back job. I went from reduced hours, a vacation of 2 weeks where we got paid for one, to working now 7 days a week. I will keep the old job until it gets too tiring. Really is feast or famine in life sometimes, and life can give back just when you are about to give up. I pondered stopping the search myself at one point.

Feast or famine are true. Save as much as you can.
