This was me, lol. It's only been a few days, but I am learning to move on from interviews. Sometimes after submitting an application or after an interview, I obsess about getting the job. For instance, I over plan for the interview(s)- creating several page word documents that gives examples to potential questions, discusses my qualification, ideas I would like to implement, and so forth. It's like every minute of the day and in my dreams, I am thinking about that job(s). However, I am learning to move on. If I get the job "great", if I don't, well they are missing out on a great worker. It's so easy to beat myself down, but I know what I have to offer. I have to remember that. If a company doesn't hire me, it's their loss, not mines. Sometimes, we have to tell ourself that because at times, we determine our worth by where we are at in life, whether we're accomplishing goals, or just stagnant.

Sounds like a recent thread here where every communication -- or lack there of -- was analyzed to ad nauseam by the wife of a job seeker.

-- What does the Calle mean? What does it mean when they don't call?
-- The HR person said she would call. She hasn't called, what does that mean.
-- Should he call her? Should he not call the HR person?

It was crazy.
Thank G-d he got the job.

I tend to be reluctant to have phone-calls with certain females in my family when applying for positions. I just know they will screw with my mental game. Is it because women have a tougher time dealing with uncertainty than men? I don't know, but sometimes it seems like it.

All I know is this person was over the top (IMO) with the "what if, what if," "what does this mean," what does that mean." It was beyond-the-beyond obsessive, annoying, and crazy. But, that said...I can be like that too, sometimes. So I'm in a glass house and shouldn't throw stones.
