I stopped in there last night, it has been about a solid week-10 days they haven't seen me Cool "Brooklyn" dude (accent, Kangol... "Dees and Dos" for all that know what Brookitalian is) was there, he remembered me. Didn't get gas, but.. Got it worked out to call there on my lunch break today.

I've been working a job where I hit my 40 hours in 4 days so I am going to ask the boss of the Station if I can give him weekends, sometimes getting/requesting a Sunday off. ("Hello, I applied and I am interested in working for you, I have a job that has me work Monday-Friday and possibly some Saturdays but I live right next door and can do most weekends, would this work?")

I'll know more today.

Do you know if you'll have to compete with college kids in the area?

Hey... they just called me.

And that's kind of what I was waiting on. "If they are interested, they will call me." Well I'll be darned...

Probably helps that I was a gas station attendant very recently. And darn good at it.

Background check tomorrow.

Go me!

You mean, like, if they want to pump their own gas, should I let them?

The Jersey Shore seems a whole different world than the Newark Triangle area, so, maybe down here, i won't get drive-offs and fake $10s and $20s. I still have that fake $10 and $20. How uncouth.

Maybe i'll let them pump it as my job seems to be to ensure the money is collected...

Was that your question?
