Hi everyone, currently I worked as a contractor through a staffing company. In my resume, I wrote Client (via staffing company) and during the interview, I made it very clear that I am a contractor in client's company. My only concern is, how should I put this into the background check form? Should I put down the staffing company only, and make a note that I am working for one of their client?
I list the staffing company that I worked for, along with my job responsibilities, dates of employment, etc. When asked reason for leaving, I just state they were temporary positions. I don't list the companies that the agency sent me to.
I totally agreed with you.
Based on my search, most people said that in resume, I should put Client (via agency), and in background check, I should only put down the agency, because I am not hired by the client company. I don't know how this can be verified since there is no direct relationship between the client company and me. Did you successfully cleared the background check?
Your employer is the staffing firm. That is what shows up on the background check.
On your resume, you can put your client you are working for.
That is exactly what i do
