You can reassess your situation now and go from there. It doesn't sound like the option to do this has anything to do with being frugal, but the desire to runaway and isolate yourself.

Elon Musk is not the only game in town. The self driving trucks are being done by Uber

If the OP is focused on saving with little expenses it could be great, though extreme. They could buy a small house in a low COL area free and clear, move out of state/country or start a business once they stop driving. It will take a toll though, but certainly possible to recover.

Would be a journey worth blogging or vlogging about too.

Frugal does not mean broke. We are conscientious spenders.

Uber has got to be one of the most intriguing companies around these days. That and the organic cannabis providers. Much potential to invest in these days. But that's another thread.

It's a tricky industry. Just do some research into the "dark underbelly" of the driving industry. Look at what day-to-day life is like for those drivers.

I'd recommend doing some extensive driving, even behind the wheel of a car, to begin to understand what it feels like to be on the monotonous road for so long, not being able to move much, with your head stuck mostly forward. Then, with what you research, extrapolate what it would be like to be behind a huge and long truck, which is also harder to park and maneuver.

I get being single and frugal, but not driving all day, for days on end.

Agreed about Elon Musk. However, someone else will do it.
