I heard this is a good choice to find flexible jobs, though is it?

I am a bit reluctant as it will charge a monthly fee whether I find a job or not. But some sources including full time nomadic traveler or RVing sites recommend this. It appears it shows a number of online jobs or temporary jobs for jobseekers to search. Though anyone actually have successful experience jobsearching with this website? and whether its worth the money? Compared to using traditional job seeking sites or using local Craigslist job listings?

In my (limited) experience with Flexjobs, it's essentially a roundup of listings from other sources, categorized along categories such as full-time, part-time, flexible locations, etc. as well as industry. I never used it to apply for a job, I just browsed. I'm pretty sure it leads you to the original source to apply. There's always a promo code out there, so you can usually do one month fairly inexpensively to try it out.

Thanks, though did you have to pay to see these job leads?
Glad you mentioned promo codes, I would be curious where you get them.

There are many "flex jobs" type job sites that don't charge you a fee.

If a site asks for money, run away.

The problem is that these "flex jobs" are inundated with people from ThirdWorldistan willing to work at $5/hour, and you get outbid every single time by them. That's for the remote roles. I saw this on Odesk frequently.

For local "flex jobs" those tend to get inundated with illegal aliens also willing to work cheap.

For this reason, I avoided such sites like the plague.
