They may simply be making sure you are still interested in the position. If you stop replying to their messages they may assume you aren't. Check to see who they are cc'ing when they respond to you. It's a way to keep everyone in the loop.

I've received responses to my thank you emails numerous times. A few of these times I was offered a position, other times I was not, despite the messages being similar that were sent to me. Unless they say otherwise specifically, it means nada, zero, zilch, nothing.

It means that the person who sent it is polite, but it isnít a commitment one way or the other. Do not read too much into trivial communications like this.
