Internship application status (interest, hiring, information, team)

So I applied for an internship and they responded a few weeks later saying "We do not yet have a set timeline for next steps and start date for the program. We were very impressed with your application and will keep your information to share with the Hiring Team once we have a timeline for next steps." and at the end they said they would keep me updated. What does this mean? Are they actually interested in me but they haven't figured out the next steps? I'm not really sure what that means.
