Also, be aware that if you do get hired, your temp agency will be demanding a cut of your salary (which your employer will pay, not you). Could easily be 25% or more of your final first year's salary. That's big money.
That means you will be costing them a lot more money than if they hired someone off the street.
This is something that will make it harder for you to get hired.
So you better be not just doing a good job, you better be rockstar level.
If you finish your assignment and roll off your temp assignment, there is a non-compete agreement for as long as you are temping with that agency and that means you can't go back to them and ask them for a job. They can't hire you.
Also, if you move on to a different temp firm, you may be held to that non-compete for 1 year or so.
BUT
Once your non compete expires, go back to that company and ask them for a job, and refer to the time you worked there as a temp. Tell them you are no longer subject to the non-compete and can be hired without having to pay money to the temp firm.
