There may be jobs - like with the federal govt - that require background checks and even if you leave a job off your resume, might still be discovered.

It's not illegal to work there.. You need a job and they have one available; apply. I approve.

Ok got me there FarNorthDallas, Didn't consider the background check thing. For me I do have a portfolio that lists former employment from the past, but I tend not to include it in the resume. I have been working at the same job for 12 years now and it has become a career unto itself.

Yes I am in the market for another job, more to see what it out there than anything else. For me I would still leave it off if it didn't apply and let them find out if they do a background check. At the same time I don't consider it hiding the truth or lying. Some may think differantly. When I am looking at resumes I am looking for things that apply to the job that we are hiring for.

Personally, I don't think leaving a job off of a resume is necessarily being dishonest. Would depend on the type of job and reason for omitting it, I think. The question, here seems to me, at least, is why would you take a job which you're ashamed you had?

Who knows, you might find inspiration to write a good article about the weirdos that go to those stores :P

Depending on what type of jobs you go for in the future, they usually ask for jobs that were pertinent to your career. Unless you work for Porn Videos Weekly, I think you would be ok.

haha I had considered that, but focus a social and psychological aspect of it. I could do a blog! haha...no, if it were one of those nice sex stores with the costumes, body oil, etc. I probably would. This one looks a tad creepy.
