Do not get into any particular area such as race. South Jersey is right. Many of not most people are skeptical and think diversity is a code word for affirmative action or just meant to look like they are tolerant of all. We ask at least one question on this of all applicants and are looking for a real understanding of why diversity is a good thing for any company. With increasing differences in the customer base, the global economy, changing technology,
the workforce has to be prepared to respect and embrace individual differences of experiences and perspectives, that could result from national origin, race, age, culture,
heritage etc.
