I am going to a job fair tomorrow. I have never been to one. Any suggestions? ideas? How many resumes should I bring? Thanks!

I used to go to them when they had them, we haven't had one in my area for over a year. Most of them post the amount of employer's who will be there and then I'd double the amount of resumes I'd take.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I agree. If you do your research you'll learn that most job fairs are nothing more than a resume-collection database tool to help keep recruiting companies afloat.

I went to a local job fair that had about 16 "employers" and they were all either sell insurance by commission or financial advising types of pyramid scheme scams.

Perhaps in areas that aren't doing as poorly as my area there are real job fairs with real employers.
