What do Jews and Judaism think about Virgin Mary? We all know that she was Jewish, and is the most respected and mentioned women in the Bible and Koran.

Well, the first thing would be that she was not a virgin.

Once you get past that... the rest should sorta fall into place along those lines.
Is that what you had in mind?

She's nowhere to be found in our bible. She doesn't exist to Jews. Mary is yours and has zero significance to Jews.

And I'm offended you would come into a Jewish forum and ask. Have a gut shabbes.

That is very offending, disrespectful and rude. Please answer my question or stay away from it.

What do you mean she does not exist to the Jews? She was Jewish herself.

Why would you be offended us asking questions? I didn't know this forum was only for Jews.

I am assuming you are asking in good faith and are looking for a sincere answer.

For many of us non-Jews it comes as a surprise that there is no record of Mary and Joseph in Jewish scripture or History.

Keep in mind Mary is only of importance to Christians and Muslims. Many that are not Christian or Muslim actually doubt she ever existed.

I think your question has been answered, therefore I am closing the thread before it becomes an attempt to proselytize Christianity.
