True, true. I'm here the longest and I've seen it all (with "0" infraction points) on this board and in POC. But keep in mind that when the two I'm referring too state I'm not a Jew by their standards, I will refute them strongly.

As has been already mentioned a Moderators actions action should be handled by DM not by starting a thread.

However, I think it is a good question and I am looking at it as a general question.

I feel it is very seldom I close a thread. The main reason I close one is if the thread leads to personal exchanges of insults. In which case I will delete all the personal comments and close the thread. It is pointless to keep a thread open once it breaks down to personal exchanges. I could use my other option and delete the thread. However, if I see the thread has discussed a topic quite well up to the point it became a war zone, I like to do what I can to avoid deleting the thread.

The last thread I closed I deleted over 20 posts which were personal arguments. With that many personal arguments I feel the topic of the thread has gone to completion and keeping the thread open only leads to insults. Better to keep what was related to the topic, delete the insults and responses to insults and simply close the thread.

With that said there is nothing more to add to this thread.

THREAD CLOSED
