Never. I am not a big fan of fish in general and gefilte fish just seems extra gross. I don't know if it's considered a "delicacy" or not, but I'm just not into that type of stuff. Give me meat and potatoes.

I make myself suffer through a bite every Pesach, and then give it to my oldest boy who can't seem to get enough of it.

Pesach for me also. I like it and would eat it more often but most brands are made with matzo meal and we are gluten-free.

Not everything in it ever swam.

But if you want nothing that ever swam, then there is this version.

Vegetarian gefilte fish is not gefilte fish, much as one would like to pretend it is. Those who've eaten gefilte fish and actually know what's gefilte fish is supposed to look and taste like can never be fooled into vegetarian gefilte fish.

And how would the difference of not actually having fish included in the recipe make a difference in relation to Borer?
