Sorry Woodrow if I saw anything wrong. I don't recall what I said or for you to end it. Now returning to the topic:

I made some sweet potato pancakes last night and they didn't turn out so good is the reason I posted this. Well, they were okay, but had basic ingredients. I'll check your links you posted Chava, thanks.

I wasn't anything you had said or done. Your original post is being taken verbatim (and all others it seems) to keep them exactly on thread. So thus I have no recipes since Whole Foods has done such a wonderful job for years that's its easier to buy it from them. The WF near me actually cleans out a section for their Jewish related food cooked foods and uses separate utensils for them.

That's kind of interesting. Is there a local vaad to supervise and ensure kashrus? It's still nice they do that, even though the food doesn't sound kosher.

I doubt Whole Foods uses separate utensils here, but I'll ask when I go in there.

It may not work for you flipflop but I'm vegetarian and if the ingredients are veggie enough I'm okay with it.

Yes there is one. And if the local Lubavitcher are shopping there then that would be a strong indicator of the type of food sold there.
