I had Japanese food instead of Chinese food last year on Christmas Day.

That's what I always do, just say it back.

When I was married, my wife and I always went to the Casino in Louisiana and we always went to the movies on Christmas. We would spend ten days or so in Louisiana and we had the same birthday near Christmas, and so we had a long list of places giving free meals on birthdays, and free stuff. Eat so much free food we would burst. So many free drinks and we would roll.

You have never had kosher sushi or kosher Chinese?

treat yourself and order it. I mean, I hate most sushi but people go crazy for it around here. And I do like Chinese.

Why couldn't they be kosher?

i make Kosher Chinese at home, also kosher sushi, also kosher Thai

and i also eat Kosher Chinese out (Seattle has a kosher Chinese restaurant that is also vegetarian, which is great for the vegetarians in the crowd)

when i lived in the Southwest, people from shul would organize trips to go to Las Vegas because the Chinese restaurant there is kosher, not sure if it's run by a Chabad house?, but it is definitely kosher

there is a great cookbook "The Complete Asian Kosher Cookbook" that is all Asian, all kosher, delicious recipes, written by a mother and daughter

No clue. You could check in Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh.
They're the largest Jewish communities in the state.
