my understanding of glatt kosher is that it applies to kashrut standards for meat.
i follow in my own life the kashrut standards i learned at shul from the Rabbi and Rebbetzin.
if i run across a hechsher i am not familiar with, i ask them if it is acceptable. with on line shopping it is convenient and easy access to a wide array of kosher foods.
