Because something is marked "Kosher", you really don't know the real truth if someone really watched the process or just got paid and walked off with a smile. Do you really trust the marking of a item with a "K" or "OU"~?

If it had an official trademarked hecksher (like a U with an O around it) you can take it to the bank that it's kosher. Just a letter K or something like that, well anybody can write the letter K, or the word kosher, on the packaging. So obviously that is not reliable. One exception is Kellogs cereals which just have a K on the box, which are kosher without a proper hecksher. Not sure why.

I would think that something actually being kosher as marked is much more likely to be true than something marked Organic being true.

Actually the word Organic is pretty trustable too. But the use of the word Natural is definitely another story.

All what you all said is true, but what you don't know goes on behind closed doors. It is a money scam in my opinion (and I know after saying this , this will turn into a hot topic or locked0

Someone told me about a business that once existed here and before that was in another HUGE city. The Rabbis or whoever comes in to check the process to see if that is being done correctly by kosher laws was never done. Every Friday, they would come into the business and collect a check but never inspected. So, you really don't know what goes on behind closed doors. IMO, this is a scam for those people to collect a check.
