There is a veritable cottage industry of Holocaust reincarnation research. See
Beyond the Ashes: Cases of Reincarnation from the Holocaust by
Yonassan Gershom. I read my first book in this vein at least 20 years ago, and my study of Ian Stevenson's research goes back much farther than this. I'm not dogmatic about it, but there is simply too much evidence to ignore regardless of one's religious orientation (I'm a Christian). It certainly would overcome or at least minimize a lot of the most formidable obstacles to belief, such as the Problem of Evil.
