What are people's plans for Tu B'Shevat? A friend of ours is hosting a seder and I'll be going there with my wife. We still have to decide what fruit to bring and how merry we should make it (drinks?). It's been a very busy (and cold) week and so I'm relieved I'm not the one hosting this year.

Tu B'Shevat in our house consists of a light supper followed by loads of fruits. That's all.

Many years ago I went to a Tu B'Shevat seder and I didn't like it. Tu B'Shevat is simply a good time to try new fruits or if not available different dried fruit.

I doubt he is any of them... They look too young to have kids in the military.

You'd have to go through the photos of US Marines who were stationed in Lebanon in 1983 to find me. But what bothers me is that you have no positive comment for group of youths who are planting a small fruit tree for Tu B'Shevat.

I didn't even notice the tree, as I was busy looking for you. Where does the minhag to plant trees on Tu B'shvat derive?

Who cares? Just go with the flow that they planted a fruit tree and in five years we can eat the fruit from it. Maybe you should read Vayikra 19:23-25 followed by Orlah. Enough with you're inane tests.

No. Go to the website listed in the corner of the photo. But since you can't read Hebrew to understand the caption that came along with it, you don't know.
