Dude is a good writer isn't he?

I would have to have a translator or a big dictionary to keep up.

I haven't heard of most you've mentioned. The only ones I know of or heard about is
  • Chassidic
  • Conservative
  • Reform
  • Reconstructionist
  • Humanistic
Do those others really exist~? Like where, Israel~? And Open Orthodox really throws me for a loop

They really all exist, both in the US and Israel (well, except Masorti, which is the name for the Conservative movement outside the US, although you're starting to hear the name here as well now, perhaps a preview that the "Conservative" name is about to be formally jettisoned). Many of these more "obscure" branches are those of orthodox Judaism along it's spectrum.

Contrary to the opinions of many non-orthodox Jews, the orthodox world and spectrum is very wide and contains many, many sub-communities both in the US and worldwide. In fact, the most fractious, vibrant part of Judiasm worldwide is the orthodox community by a wide margin. The vibrancy, commitment, and birthrate of orthodox Judaism, combined with the rapid ongoing implosions of the bottom 4 branches you list, will probably guarantee that orthodox Judaism will drive Jewish communal agenda and conversation for some time to come.

To learn more about those other movements, you can Google further information.
