I also like reading articles that show technology can be combined to fit Jewish law especially when it helps disabled people to continue with their normal functions even during the Shabbat and Jewish holidays.

Who are the 25 Rabbis endorsing Zomet? This page alone is indication that Zomet does not seek to maintain Halachic integrity, but tries to find a "Kosher" method for breaking Halacha.

Computer on Shabbat

Nu, Pruzh. So does your Shabbos computer comply with all stipulations listed.

So since you've accessed it, read it and created a link to another part of it then by doing so you have made a decision that it is a Kosher website. Thus since you've decided the website to be Kosher, then all of its contents are Kosher. Thus my answer to your question is irrelevant.

If it is kosher, then it doesn't break halacha. If you disagree, please explain your "scare quote".

You'll need to ask the question of your qualified Posek (a legal scholar who decides Halakha) to answer the question.
