Some interesting shailos (halachic questions) on Purim:

1. Can a man wear a costume that includes wearing his wife shaitel (wig) on Purim?

The Rama and the Mishna Berurah argue on this, but nearly all the major poskim today hold that it is forbidden. Men and women are forbidden to cross dress the entire year, including on Purim.

2. If a poor Jew owes money, may he give charity to the needy on Purim?

In short, yes, he is still required (according to the Ritva and the Mishna Berurah). But he fulfills his mitzva by giving as little as a prutah, which in current American currency is roughly 2 cents. The rest of his money should go towards paying off his own debt.

3. If a Jewish man wants to wear a Gorilla costume on Purim, may he daven Mincha/Maariv that night still wearing the costume?

During the year, one may not daven in a costume as it is disrespectful to Hashem. But on Purim, since we are celebrating two great miracles (that Vashti grew a tail and that Modechai was lead thru the streets by his mortal enemy Amalek (Haman), and the costume is meant to elevate us in commemoration of these miracles, it is indeed permitted. This is only as long as his body is properly covered. However, even this heter (permissibility) has limits, and to dress as an ape in front of hashem is not advised.

I hope youall have a "freilichen Purim."
