Maybe I need a gogl mogl and a good strong greps. I'll be in Eretz Yisrael in a few days and I'll be around numerous lantzmen for a few weeks. So maybe I'll hold off on a decision until Nisan has ended. Or it may be after Iyar has ended. Decisions, Decisions...................

Why not go to a Reform service and see how you like it first and talk to some of the people there. Don't reveal your info of your past and maybe you can decide from there if that is your link to paradise~!

Pruz, it's not nice to give these Reformed Jews hope that you're going to legitimize their approach to Judaism by turning your back on G-d, when you know full well you started this thread for the dramatic affect, and you have no intention of lowering your madrega so drastically. Shame on you.

Pruzhany, why do you have to be associated with any kind of organized religion?

A lot of people believe there is a god of some kind, and that's OK. However, some of them start making up rules and try to tell you what you need to do to please that god. A lot of people follow one set of these rules because they simply feel better about themselves if they live by a set of rules.

If you want some rules to lie by, why not make them up for yourself? I bet you have as much insight as the so-called religious gurus throughout history. If you believe your god wants you to behave in a certain way, then wouldn't he he tell you, just like a parent teaches a child?

Read about Buddah. As I understand it, he sat under a tree until he figured out the meaning of life and what it took to be satisfied in this world. You might be inspired by his ability to think for himself, but you don't have to follow his teachings. Create your own ideas.

By the way, the honey-baked ham I just had for breakfast was delicious.

When you understand this concept we can talk......
