I think it's a bad idea for several reasons:
1. We don't have the population to warrant it. There's, what, 5 or 6 that post regularly here?
2. Most of the "bickering" comes from people who identify similarly.
3. Most of the "bickering" comes from people who aren't likely to respect separate forums.
I post on another forum that has that set up, and it takes a lot of moderation and member participation to make it work.
I don't see that happening here.
I also don't think it is a good idea. Perhaps people should mention in their post what their observance level is when giving opinions to clarify for non-Jewish readers. But there should only be one Judaism forum.

Now, that's a good idea...Do you think it would be easy for someone looking to find out, for instance, how conservatives observe Judaism, to follow the thread of responses and assemble the standards in the mind?...I was looking at it as if someone was interested in Orthodox, they could go into the orthodox forum and post their questions and hopefully all the responses they received would be orthodox answers...

Since we are part of the so called six, How does that help if I'm continuously called the Heretic and you are continuously called the Christian because we don't follow the path that another pair follow?

Ah...I got it when call mentioned JB's post...Maybe if it was separated then all the others might feel comfortable coming back and participating...Ya know, birds of a feather, and that rot...
i saw this recently on a website for a mid-Western shul, it is simple and addresses this topic, i like it:
A Jew is a Jew. Period. We are one people, we have one Torah, and we have one G-d. The Shul endeavors to bring unity to the Jewish Community through our common bond of Jewish faith and observance. At The Shul, we don't label ourselves, and we don't label others. We're just Jewish.

Eh...That's a good thing...
