- I happen to catch the new talk show on TV Objectified hosting Israel's PM Ben N.

I found something the host said interesting when asking about
Israel's Orthodox Jewish Men In Black Coats and Hats with the long lamb curls.

The host was referring to how or of why The PM Ben could peaceably keep the difference of this group
when they not only don't work or pay taxes but receive Israel's government benefits as well?

After that I really didn't catch an answer from Ben who seemed to skirt their issue.
As this question was occurring to me as well, about how these Men In Black of Israel
seemed to be afforded the same position as to God's Priesthood in the O.T.

So I'll just throw my musing up here for maybe others who know to elaborate as I have no clue. Thanks.

Donít listen to the lies you hear on liberal tv. Israel could not exist, literally , without them. Theirs is among the biggest contribution in Israel.

Without tefilla, the land would spit out the Jews. Itís only in merit of their learning and davening that Jews can maintain their hold on the land. The IDF is a nice-to, but not a need-to.

The "Orthodox Jewish Men In Black Coats and Hats with the long lamb curls" are part of the Orthodox group which is made up of three sub groups who are in US terms the ultra-Orthodox, religious Zionists & traditional Jews. They would be known as ultra-Orthodox or Haredi. Originally these groups were supposed to give Israel it's religious character as part of the majority secular ran gov't during the formation of Israel. The initial group (back in 1948) had a allowance for the Rabbi's and their immediate students to become future Rabbi's who were to be paid by gov't, have all their living expenses covered and not be required to enter into military service while studying (Otherwise known as the Torato Umanuto arrangement which was for 400 people) Due to multiple reasons their exemptions grew to have a welfare state to be within Israel that sits around 10% of the population currently.

Quote:
At the state’s foundation in 1948, Israel’s first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, accepted the rabbis’ request to be allowed to rebuild the yeshivas which had been destroyed in the Holocaust in Europe. A first quota of 400 yeshiva students was exempted from military service. In 1977 the first Likud government, in which Haredi parties were coalition partners, removed that cap. Successive governments have expanded funding for yeshiva stipends as well as benefits for large families.

- I heard The Temple Institute say they don't need a Temple to sacrifice.
- As Israel had sacrificed before without a Temple.
