Hello everyone.
I was wondering if there is more to silver than can be counted.
Thinking out loud for a moment here.
There were times that the description of siver caught my attention.
Yet, I always seem to forget it's meaning.

I need help finding every account of silver in torah alone.

The silver dollar is the only coin given in exchange for the "first salute" of someone who becomes an Officer. So, I saluted my daughter and gave her my silver dollar. It was a bit tarnished, but she didn't have a problem with that!

In Zechariah 11:12-13 says ...``And I said unto them, If you think, give me my hire, and if not, ...So they weighted for my hire thirty pieces of silver ...And Jehovah said to me Caste it to the Potter, the goodly price that I was prized at by them ..... And I took the thirty pieces of silver , and caste on to the potter, in the house of Jehovah ``................................... Then in Exodus 21;32 says........`` If the ox shall push a man servant or a maid servant , he must give to their master thirty shekels of silver , and the ox will be stoned .``.................Then in Exodus 36:36 .. and Exodus 38:17.....``silver is used in the foundation of the hooks for the pillars of the tabernacle of the wilderness , as silver is viewed for atonement ......

Moving thread from Christianity to Judaism since the request is specifically asking about "silver in torah."

the word kesef appears very often in the 5 books of Moses (without prefix or suffix) and plenty of times in the balance of the Tanach. Are you looking for a list of instances? Do you want with any prefix? Do you recognize (and/or care about) a distinction between the word kesef as silver and the word as a reference to a silver coin?

My concordance is based on Hebrew, notes in Latin (the Shlomo Mandelkern), which is good for me. I believe that the standard which most American Christians use is Strong's, don't remember whether it's based on English or Hebrew. The Hebrew word for silver, of course, is כסף, for whatever that might be worth to you. Visit a Christian book store, take a look at a Strong's, look up silver, and if you like what you see, buy yourself a new reference book.

It wasn't my intention to enguage here.

It's just that i found something very wonderfull about avraham and sarah when considering silver and promises.

Thankyou everyone again for sharing insight.
I honestly didnt expect to be blessed in the way of having a thread moved to judaism for mentioning torah. .
