Many well-meaning people have asked: Are the aims of Women of the Wall religious or political in nature? Does this group wish to simply pray after its own fashion or force change upon the rest of us?

they are not doing it for religious reasons.
because if they knew Torah they would not be acting the way they are acting.
we are meant to follow Torah, not take on secular values.
this group is placing secular norms ahead of Torah.
the behavior is disruptive and disrespectful and confrontational.

If they were to achieve their goals, they would lower the kiddusha at the Kosel. Can’t possibly be l’shaim shemayim. But I feel for them. They think if they lower themselves to the spiritual level of a man, and thereby gain “equality,” that will... that will accomplish what?
