Is anyone watching this on Netflix or seen it on Israeli TV? If so do you think it shows accurately the issues facing Hassidic/Ultra-Orthodox Jews in everyday life?

It can be viewed on a computer (or tablet or smartphone) as well if one has a Netflix subscription.

Well, the voices of the actors are too monotone so it's basically like a continuous hum. They speak pretty slowly so if one understands Hebrew and Yiddish (has subtitles) it's easy to follow. Problem is (lol) due it being sooooo monotone I keep on falling asleep listening to it and haven't gotten past episode 1 yet (lol). But based on what I've seen during that one episode, following the young male Haredi his interactions with women are not correct. From my experience one doesn't see a Haredi male share a small table with a religious (dati and not frum if one knows the difference) Orthodox woman in such close proximity. Okay, lets see if I can stay awake again through episode 1.

FWIW; If you're a insomniac this is the perfect movie to lull you into falling asleep.

I'm up to part 4 and truthfully it is close to being correct in some ways but not in others. It's something that those of who were born into the Haredi lifestyle actually would not speak about on this website. You may want to join a Face Book group that is closed to the public called 'Frum / OTD Dialogue' to get a better view.

That would be a shonda, in my case. Kedusha is only meant to go upwards.

I got as far as the retirement home where the money exchanger was and everything was wrong by the next part. Couldn't go any further as it was a lie at that point. Deleted from my Netflix acct.

I saw 6 episodes myself (in 2 sessions) and definitely I feel that some things probably aren't realistic at all.
