Then I would respond that their premise is flawed, and their claim is no different than saying Christians or Muslims are "better Jews".




Note: I'm not saying that Reform Jews are outside of Judaism or that they are somehow comparable to non-Jews, but that the claim that they are perfecting Judaism (per the OP's explaination) is similar to the other Abrahamic religions' claims that they are the successors of Judaism.

I find that Reform Judaism is very intellectually honest. They donít pretend in the slightest to be something they are not. They donít seek to change Judaism. They just refrain from knowing and doing.
