Now I am going o call Queeny,'' Yemina,'' I really like that and I wonder if Yemina is derived from a female Benjamin. Doesn't Benjamin mean,'' Son of the right hand?''
I am so jealous Queeny, let me just try it out,'' If Y'all see Yemina, tell her I am looking for her, just tell Yemina to hollar out and I will hear her.''
That is just awesome, and it really is a big deal to me to wake up on Unleavened bread on the Eve of Passover and a Jew gives me an awesome new name. I feel like that like that little beast in the ring who was waiting on somebody to present him some clothes to gain his freedom lol.
Glad you liked it, Hannibal! I got the Harry Potter reference. I have a friend who calls me "the Jewish Luna Lovegood." lol
I'm Ashkenazi and my husband Sephardic. We have kitnyiot regularly. It's just whatever people feel more comfortable with. If you didn't grow up with kitnyiot , I guess it would be hard to get use to it later in life. I never kept no Chametz on Pesach before I met my husband. I started to keep Pesach after I was with him. That's why I don't have any issue to have kitnyiot at home.
