Fascinating thread. If only you would all defend the Torah as vigorously as you defend your secular institutions.

Are you a Lubavitcher, Pruzhany? The wisdom and kindness of the Lubavitch community has always impressed me. The very name of "Lubavitch" even has the Yiddish word for "love" in it.

The belief in macro-Evolution is a religious belief, not a scientific belief.

To be continued.

No, it's not, but this debate is boring.

Most beer in the United States is completely kosher, and some authorities do not even require a hecksher if it is made with only malt, hops, water and yeast (as most but not all are). For those who are more machmir, there many beers that have heckshers.

And social justice is a Jewish value.

Beer and social justice, alongside engineering or accounting or even biology are fine.

note its not only secular institutions we are defending. Your position (esp on evolution) would attack all non orthodox seminaries, and even modern Orthodox Universities - YU and Bar Ilan.

I always ask the evolutionist, that since they describe themselves as human evolving's, at what point do they come of age and become human beings ? Because you can't be both.

BBDad, TFF just wants attention. And, when you also respond to "chief scum," guess who you're really talking to?
