then recognize there is joy in learning halacha and there is joy in following halacha

halacha = Jewish law

terms of service are that this is an English language forum, and when non-English words are used, a glossary or definition is provided

Well, that doesn't always happen a whole lot here, as I'm sure you're aware. But thanks for quoting the forum rules to me, as well.

I am often guilty of not providing the required glossary. I have been reminded frequently but I keep forgetting, so apologies if anything I have written has assumed understanding, or generalized apologies to all readers for my not complying with a basic rule of this forum.

It required in the TOS to provide a translation of a word that others may not know...If I remember correctly...

Many would disagree but I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Wow. Condescending much these days?

I also must disagree with your earlier post that this forum is a place to learn about Jewish law. Cruising around on this board is entertaining and heartwarming at times, and a great place to meet friends, but I hardly think it is an appropriate venue for study devoted to Jewish law. Anyone purporting that they are "studying" while reading this forum is sadly mistaken and doing true study a disservice.
