That was pretty cool! But so many people didn't have their masks on! I hope no one spreads Covid-19 on that flight.
As it was a PR flight, they were all most likely tested either the night before or the morning of for Covid in addition to multiple tests 14 days before the flight. The actual time needed to get a result after a swab test is less than a hour. It could be a little more than a hour per person if they ran all three tests (Molecular, Antigen and Antibody).
I think this has much greater importance not because Bahrain is any greater military presence in the region but because their royal family is kin to the Saudi Royal Family and that's a major player you want to get in your court. As they say where I live "family members talk"...
I am sure that during the flight itself the masks were on. It seems that people tend to take off their masks when talking to the press.
The masks they were using were the cheap disposable type that don't actually filter anything. They are used so that people don't spray their mucus. Looking at the video, most were wearing their masks, but some were wearing them incorrectly. None of them were (K)N-95 masks.
OMG, what a day, thought I would never see something like this in my lifetime, I just cant believe it.
