The Latin root of "vibrant" translates basically to "vigorous," or "full of life." Some communities have this, others don't, and when you're in one or the other, you know it. It doesn't seem like a buzzword to me, it just seems like a succinct way to describe a community that has a lot going on.

I consider the Plaza district the only true "vibrant" area of KC. KC has many areas that can be vibrant, but they tend to be more hit or miss.

I think Westport has some vibrance...at least it used to on Friday nights.

I think Brookside has lots of Vibrance as well. Lots of people shopping or eating in the commercial area. Waldo on the weekends has really good vibrance as well.
