I've come to know Kansas City as a very charity minded metro area, and I like that. This summer, I first learned about the Bishop Sullivan Center's Project Eldercool, which uses donations to purchase air conditioners for the elderly poor in our area. It's going to be dangerously hot this coming week, so if you can, please consider this very worthy charity. It feels great to come in from the heat to a cool room, and it feels just as good to know you've given that feeling to someone else.
