Can anyone recommend a good cat sitter in the Raytown area? I just need someone to come in once a day to scoop the litter and feed and water two well-behaved adult cats. And to water a (very) few plants and bring in the mail and paper.
I moved here less than 3 months ago and the people around my home are "dog people" who watch each other's dogs or take them with them. No one seems inclined toward cats.
I don't expect home-cooked food, grooming (the cats barely tolerate it from me), playing, or anything but the basics. But I want someone with sense who'll call if something seems off or who till take a cat to the vet if something is wrong.
Thanks for any help.

I found these two on Craigslist. One of them can't spell, but I guess that doesn't mean they can't take care of pets, but it specifically says Raytown and that's why I included it. The other sounds better but doesn't give a location.

Thanks, Luzianne, but I was hoping for someone who has actually *used* the cat sitter themselves. If I don't receive a personal recommendation here, I'll check at the local vets offices.
