My question is????
I am on regular unemployment benefits and they were scheduled to end on Nov. 20, 2010 and I was going to qualify for a tier I think. I ended up working a couple of times so now my UB run out Dec. 4th. Did I just screw myself out of exted benefits by trying to do the right thing and work whenever I could and claim it?
Do you think I will be able to get anything. I have called state of Missouri where my benefits are through and they said they cant do anything unless its passed through congress. I am so mad that I worked at all if that is the case and I thought they wanted us to work. I only worked 15 hrs and that put me over .

Hey,

You ended up making it delay a few weeks by working.. You very well may have issues restarting it back up, but you should be eligible. I have gone through 4 temporary jobs since being laid off 9 months ago and its a huge hassle but I've got it going every time.. The problem is trying to make contact with the unemployment call center in Topeka

I have been on unemployment the whole time I only worked a few hours for a few weeks. I reported my wages and unemployment paid me the difference. What I was trying to say is that I would have ended on Nov. 20th in time to qualify for the extended benefits but since I made my money las a little longer by claiming a few hours worked it drug it into Dec.
