I've been busy fighting for kids. The problems still exist. I will continue to inform the public until the problems are no longer there.

What's the percentage for non-LS graduates?

That information is not readily available. I only have this information because a school board member used it in his campaign for school board.

Well, I still think the schools in the midwest are highly overated after moving to the east coast.

It's like they use trick stats or something to look good on paper but I don't think the education level is as good in reality.

They are good enough and I would send my kids there, but they seem a little better and more advanced out here. Kids are better prepared for college.

That's been my experience anyway.

You are right. I just read an article that rates the states. Missouri didn't fare well. Its something that we need to work on.

I asked because I was curious how Lee's Summit compares to other areas nearby. We have been considering LS for our next home. The statistic given isn't of much use unless compared to other areas.

I don't understand this statistic.

Is this saying that 42% of the LS students who attend community college have to take remedial classes? That's a lot different than suggesting that 42% of LS students aren't prepared for college.

What percentage of LS students attend community college as opposed to a traditional 4-year college or university?
