Won't bother responding to the childish 'imitate' comment as NYC and many non-sunbelt cities have TJs - so they are imitating to you. But yeah, Omaha was able sign a contract sooner.. they worked on KC/Omaha at same time but ran into site issues in KC and took longer to find other sites. I'm not sure why it would be undesirable if Omaha scored first... sounds childish as well.

Maybe your issue in the midwest was your apparent tendency to exaggerate - now that doesn't go over too well here while having a fabricated 'image' is important out there.
Of course I know that OC is very conservative. I was merely commenting on the unfounded fears that many midwesterners have on Californians moving onto their turf. Sorry that the sarcasm alarm didn't go off.

yeah, i missed the sarcasm i guess. i haven't seen anyone have a fear of people from CA... but would frown on those who get into a CA attitude mode. that would be true in any part of country outside of CA.

Doesn't matter where you're from or where you're moving to, never brag about your previous place.

Where in OC are you now? The market is beginning to pick up here, especially if you have web skills.

its very tough to get a job in the Missouri area without physically being in the MO area. Have you tried Hallmark and Sprint in the KC area?

This doesn't mean there are a lot of open jobs but I thought this was an interesting stat (if true). It's a promo flyer afterall...

Kansas City ranks nationally:
• 7th highest concentration of visual artists
(highest concentration of major cities between the coasts)
• 4th highest concentration of graphic designers
• 6th highest concentration of commercial & industrian designers
• 12th highest concentration of architect
