So, this is hitting the news clear out here. I think the national press is ready to run with this story.

Yeah I've seen it all over the AP wire this morning in additon to an MSNBC article as well. Poor little girl; seeing her face all over the TV makes me so sad.

Unhappy still missing, police report no firm leads

Heartbreaking hearing the mother plead for her baby's return. I pray she is found/retunred safe and soon.

I wouldnt be standing outside smoking while my baby was missing. and the cell phone doesnt make sense. Also in a small house like that how can you not know the lights are on. very strange.

Yea, what is that? They place all their cell phones together on the counter, who does that? The dad didn't take his phone to work with him even though he works a night shift? They don't have a land line? If not, taking cell phones would delay me about 45 seconds to find a phone from a neighbor to call 911.

The mother is being said to have failed the polygraph "miserably" and it is being reported now that she has "lawyered up".You don't stop cooperating with LE because you "need a break" when your child is missing.

The golden window of 72 hrs. has now passed for that infant. The outcome does not look good.

Same link as before but story has been updated:

Yeah I guess she said she was reprogramming them all with numbers or something?

But honestly, to me, the thing that doesn't make sense is that that baby is simply too young to be much of a target -- child abductions are exceedingly rare, but almost always happen outside -- like a kid walking to school or playing alone in a front yard. For someone to break into their home and take their baby, there'd have to be some malice there. It just doesn't add up.
