I've haven't been down there in ages. Is the parking free? I seem to recall having to pay/have your ticket stamped at the Medical Plaza Building lot, but don't remember about the hospital itself.

(I checked St. Luke's website and they have a very nice map of the parking lots but no mention if they are free).

^You do have to pay -- it's less if you get it validated I believe -- but I can't remember how much.

That's surprising. I don't think I have ever paid for parking south of about 14th Street in KCMO and even in large cities with expensive parking in general, hospitals are typically free, at least with validation.

That may be the case with St Lukes. Free with validation to keep others out.

Hmm ... you might be right that it's free with validation. Now that I'm thinking of it, I think it's kU that still costs even with validation -- that one I'm certain of.

The visitors/emergency garage on Wornall doesn't even do a ticket, free to get in. The other garages are entirely free with validation. It's just so that neighborhood people and Plaza/Westport visitors don't use their garages.
