A guy as surly as Todd, no matter his laurels or who his daddy was, is bound to make enemies. If you don't win, you're going to go.

Really not his fault, the chiefs were full of injuries with their best players.

They should have kept Herm, at least the players he drafted turned out to be good; Hali, Derek Johnson and to a lesser exent, Bowe

That's no excuse. The Packers lost more quarters to players that were starters to injuries last season than any team in NFL history and won the Super Bowl. A good coach gets the best out of his players and was getting blown out in every loss in a league full of parity. It doesnt matter how many players you lose, you dont consistently lose by 3 or 4 touchdowns and keep your job.

With that said, Haley should be at home drinking champagne because he walked out of a train wreck of an organization without a scratch and a suitcase full of money. He will be an offensive coordinator in he NFL next year with someone. He just isnt head coaching material.

The injuries are unfortunate, but the Chiefs looked disorganized, undisciplined and confused each week. The Texans are playing with a third string QB, without their top WR, and winning. The Patriots have lost so many DBs they moved WRs to defense.

But, Todd Haley didn't have much room for error. The Hunts didn't want to open the checkbook.
