If you aren't pushed for time here the Southern Route Is I-40 better or I-10 for driving california to Dallas Fortworth > San Francisco > Los Angeles > Phx/Tucson > El Paso > Interstate 20 > Dallas/Ft Worth >Oklahoma City > Tulsa > Kansas City MO...40..70...80 are closed a lot during the winter months. The link that I provided is from a City-Data LA to Dallas thread " which avoided all the ice and snow of the winter months ".

P.S. please forgive me you can take the Dallas > OKC > Wichita Kansas > Kansas City route instead of the Tulsa > KC Route it's all up to you and the weather...

Default How are things in KC

It'll be a big change for a lifelong West Coaster having no mountains or oceans nearby, but life's about change and change is good.
I grew up in KC and moved to Northern CA when I was 16. Now 46 and getting tired of the traffic, competition and all tech environment. Curious how you both settled into life there coming from the West Coast.
