"Look at it this way," Kansas coach Bill Self told the Kansas City Star. "No matter what, I'm 100 percent confident we're going to land. And we may land in a group that gives us more exposure than we ever could have had before. We may land with somebody that opens up recruiting doors in areas that we never really tested before. We're not gonna lose what we already have. This may open up new avenues for us.

"We are gonna be in a BCS conference."

Everyone thought the Big 12 was going to fall apart a few times and look now, it is stronger than it was before. It got rid of some of the weaker schools and are picking up replacements on top of their best TV contract yet.

If you are fooling yourself if you think the SEC views MU as anything more than a beatable school so their powerhouses can win national titles.

If that works for you run with it! I plan on being here in 5 years, let's catch up then and see if the B12 still stands.

You guys add a commuter school (TCU) and call yourself stronger? I will give you this, you have made me laugh today so thanks for that!

How long do you it will take WV to realize they f'd up in a big way by committing to commuting halfway across America? They will be out the door right behind TX and OU.

Once the 6 year TV rights deal expires so will the B12. It's just a matter of time.

If MU fans didn't have an inferiority complex, they could just be happy with their accomplishments and look forward to their move instead of continually trying to harp on what they HOPE will happen to the conference they are leaving. It speaks volumes.

And I thought you were ignoring my inflammatory posts?

Your response speaks volumes!

Have a nice day beaker! NOT!

The hypocrisy from kU is never ending. They won't play MU but will play the Aggies. In KC no less.

KU in next season's CBE Classic

By Blair Kerkhoff - Posted on 06 March 2012

Kansas will anchor next season’s CBE Classic at Sprint Center.

The Jayhawks will join Texas A&M, Washington State and Saint Louis University for the games that will be played on Nov. 19-20. The brackets haven’t been established.

KU played in the 2008 CBE Classic, losing to Syracuse in the championship game after defeating Washington in the semifinals.

Last season, Missouri won the CBE, beating California for the title.
