I guess I didn't realize how far Cerner was off Bannister. Sorry.

But yeah, I did the bike/bus thing for a year when my bus route was 1 mile from my work, and its very doable, I would think even more so down Marion, where there is very little traffic.

Thanks guys for all the advice! I did accept the offer, so I'm looking into everything a bit more closely now.

Typing Cerner's address into google, it seems like there are some closer bus stops nearby (using route #471). The maps are still really confusing to me though. Is there a way I can transfer onto that bus route?

That's a commuter route. That's the one I as talking about that could allow you to live in the Red Bridge area. Those tend to be limited stop though so even though it might get closer to the campus, it may not stop till it reaches the transfer spot on Bannister Road. Also, you would have to live south as that line would only go north in the mornings and south in the evenings.
