Hello,

I will soon be moving to the area for a new job in Leawood, in the area south of 435. I am looking to buy a house within biking distance (<30 minutes one way) and would like to be close to shopping, dining and parks. Budget is <$250K and looking at houses newer than, say, 20-25yrs. Can anyone recommend an area to look or will that be difficult to find? I appreciate the help.

Just go to zillow.com

Leawood KS Homes for Sale & Leawood Real Estate - Zillow

and look at anything along the Indian Creek or Tomahawk trail system:

It's a great trail. While this can be a pretty affluent area with homes way above 250k, it looks like there are quite a few in your price range as well.
