We looked into them I knew some people that lived out there.

It's a very nice area that was growing very fast and the entire area is platted out but the housing bust has stopped development cold there so that would be my only issue with it. You have a lot of open lots and empty streets waiting for houses down there. Who knows though, you might be able to get a good deal before things pick back up. There is also a superwalmart going in at Route 7 and Colbern which also go put on hold, but that will eventually get built.

I would also think about where you will be commuting to as Route 7 can be a real PITA. It can take 20 minutes just to get up to I-70.

Isn't Eagle Creek in Lee's Summit and nowhere near the border of Blue Springs either. If it's the area I'm thinking of near LS West High School and Raintree Lake, that's a nice area and development, but I couldn't tell you much more about it. The proposed Jackson County commuter line runs right through there if you want to think long term
